How it works

Three steps. About two minutes.

All we need is your Google Maps link. Everything else is generated for you.

1

Add your business

Sign in and paste your Google Maps link. We find your listing and confirm the name and address with you — no forms to fill in.

2

Get your QR card

Your review QR code is generated instantly, on a print-ready card carrying your business name and five stars. No design work needed.

3

Print it or share it

Download the card as an image to print, or share the link straight to WhatsApp. Every scan opens your Google review box directly.

Why a QR code

Most happy customers never leave a review.

Not because they don’t want to — because finding your listing, scrolling to the review box and typing on a phone is more effort than the moment deserves. A QR code removes every one of those steps. They point, they tap a star, they’re done.

Ask at the right moment

The best time to ask is while the customer is still with you and still pleased. A card on the table or counter asks for you, every single time, without anyone having to feel awkward.

More reviews lift your ranking

Review count and recency both feed how Google ranks local listings. A steady trickle of fresh reviews does more for your visibility than a burst once a year.

It costs nothing to run

Print it once and it works indefinitely. No per-scan fee, no subscription keeping the code alive, and nothing to renew.

Where to put it

Six places that actually get scanned.

Table tents

For restaurants and cafés, a small standing card on each table catches people while the meal is still fresh in their mind — the single best moment to ask.

At the counter

A sticker or acrylic stand next to the till or card machine. Customers are already holding their phone to pay, so scanning costs them nothing.

On the bill

Print the QR on receipts or bill folders. It reaches every paying customer without a staff member having to ask out loud.

Delivery and packaging

A card in the bag or box reaches customers who never set foot in your shop — often the ones least likely to review you otherwise.

Reception and waiting areas

Clinics, salons and workshops get long dwell times. A framed card where people wait turns dead time into reviews.

Business cards and invoices

For trades and services, put it where the customer looks after the job is done and they are happiest with the work.

Stay within Google’s rules

Ask everyone. Offer nothing.

Google allows businesses to ask customers for reviews — a QR code is simply a convenient way to ask. Three things will get reviews removed or your listing penalised, so avoid them.

Don’t offer incentives

No discounts, free items or entries into a draw in exchange for a review. This is the most common way businesses get their reviews wiped.

Don’t gate by sentiment

Asking only the customers you think are happy — review gating — is against Google’s policy. Put the code where everyone sees it.

Don’t buy or write them

Purchased reviews and reviews written by staff or family are detectable and damaging. Real ones from real customers are the only ones worth having.

After the reviews arrive

Collecting reviews is half the job.

Once the reviews are coming in, the harder question is what they’re telling you. ReviewLens reads every one of them and hands you your top complaints, your biggest praises, and the single thing to fix first — with AI-drafted replies ready to post.

  • Every review read and grouped into themes
  • The one fix behind most of your low ratings
  • How you compare against a nearby competitor

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is the Google review QR code generator free?
Yes. Creating your review QR code and downloading the print-ready card is free, and stays free — there is no limit on how many times you download or reprint it. You only pay if you later want the AI analysis of what your reviews actually say.
Do I need an account?
You need a free account, which takes one tap with Google. We ask because the QR has to point at your specific Google listing — we save it to your dashboard so you can come back and reprint the card any time without setting it up again.
Where do I find my Google Maps link?
Search for your business on Google Maps, open your listing, tap Share, and copy the link. Paste that into ReviewLens and we do the rest. Short links like maps.app.goo.gl work fine.
What happens when someone scans the code?
Their phone camera opens Google and takes them straight to the review box for your business, with the star rating ready to tap. There is no app to install and no extra page in between — fewer steps means more reviews actually get left.
Does the QR code expire?
No. It points at your Google listing, so it keeps working for as long as that listing exists. Print it once and it stays valid — you do not need to regenerate it or keep a subscription active.
Is asking customers for reviews allowed by Google?
Yes — Google explicitly permits businesses to ask customers for reviews, and a QR code is just a convenient way to ask. What is not allowed is offering incentives for reviews, asking only your happy customers (review gating), or discouraging negative feedback. Ask everyone, offer nothing in return, and you are within the rules.
What size should I print it?
The card is 600×1020 pixels, which prints cleanly at postcard size (about 10×17 cm) for table tents and counters. For a sticker, anything from 5 cm square upwards scans reliably from normal arm’s length.
Can I use it for more than one location?
Yes. Add each business to your dashboard and you get a separate QR card for each one, since every location has its own Google listing and its own reviews.
